There are various options to download YouTube videos at your convenience.:

Step One: Select the YouTube video. Find the desired video on YouTube and copy its URL.
Step Two: Use KeepVid.com. Open up your browser and go to KeepVid.com. Paste the YouTube URL into the URL field and select the “DOWNLOAD” button (above the large Download and Install icons).

All of them do one basic thing: you give them a YouTube URL (or other video site if supported), they parse it, give you a choice of what size download you want, and provide a link to said download. All are free unless noted and work across all platforms.
